Pilates and Getting Ready for New Years'

Good morning! This morning I decided to do a short Pilates workout instead of doing one of my Beachbody workouts, because I still had some work to do to get ready for our trip up to Michigan for New Years'. It felt good to do Pilates, I don't do it very often. I think I might start putting it back into my rotation on the days I have to do Yoga though. After that I showered and got ready for my day, and also got the rest of my stuff packed up that I want to take up to Michigan. I'm looking forward to the visit. After we get back, I'll start on my resolutions for the New Year, and my P90x/P90x Plus Hybrid workout. I hope everyone has a great New Years!

Interval X Plus and a Delicious Breakfast Treat

Good morning! This morning's cardio workout was Interval X Plus again - decided to do that because I wanted to make myself a delicious treat for breakfast. I did pretty well with that workout, but I still have a hard time getting through some of the exercises. I imagine it will take me a while before I can get through all of those exercises without stopping.

This morning I also made myself a delicious treat for breakfast - a half a peanut butter Eggo waffle sandwich, with Hungry Jack syrup on top of it. Yeah I know, not the most nutritious choice, but I wanted to try something different. I took an Eggo waffle and toasted it, then cut it in half, put some crunchy peanut butter on it, then put the other half on top, then put some Hungry Jack syrup on top of that. It was delicious.

Only have to get through today and half of tomorrow (only have to work until 1 pm) and then I'm off until January 4th. I'm looking forward to spending some time with friends up in Michigan. I'll try to remember to post tomorrow if I can, if not I'll start posting again after I get back, when I'll be starting a P90x/P90x Plus hybrid workout.

Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X- felt good as usual, really pumped up my shoulders and arms and made my abs feel stronger. I also went ahead and scheduled the next routine I plan to do, starting the Monday after New Years, which is going to be the P90x/P90x Plus hybrid, with a few changes so I can include some of the Les Mills Combat kickboxing workouts in there. I just have to get through two and a half more days of work - today, tomorrow and half a day on Thursday - and then I'm off until Monday. We're going up to Michigan for New Years' - it should be fun, at least we'll get a little more time up there than we did for Thanksgiving. Going to try to get in some exercise, but we'll see what happens.

Legs and Back and Pilates Abs, and My Christmas

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Yesterday I actually did do a little workout - I did Les Mills Combat Power Kata, and got a great workout from it. I had a great day yesterday, spent most of it relaxing. Kevin and I actually exchanged gifts on Christmas Eve - Kevin gave me a bluetooth headset for my phone and some leave-in conditioner for my hair. I've used both, and they both work well :)  We went and saw the new Star Wars movie yesterday - if you're a Star Wars fan and haven't seen it, I highly recommend it, it's an excellent movie. This morning I got up and did Legs and Back, and instead of doing Ab Ripper X I decided to do a pilates resist-a-ball workout for abs and glutes. Today I plan to spend the day working on a few things, I hope everyone has a great day!

Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! And Merry Christmas! This morning I got up and did Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X, which worked me out, as usual. That's good, especially since, as I mentioned yesterday, I've been eating a lot of higher fat stuff this week.  I'm really looking forward to tomorrow - it will be a quiet day with Kevin, but he's got a good breakfast planned for us, as well as dinner. Not sure what we'll do tomorrow, other than exchange presents. We may try to go see a movie.

And here's a picture (the best selfie I could take) of one of the new sweaters I got:

I hope to post more pictures of the other clothes I got soon! Everyone have a very Merry Christmas!

Interval X Plus

Good morning! This morning I decided to kick things up a notch, and did Interval X Plus for my workout. It felt great, I was real tired and sweaty at the end though. Tomorrow I'll do Chest and Back I think, and then on Friday I think I'm going to do Plyo X to kick things up a notch again - I've been eating a lot of more fattening stuff, with Kevin being home and this being a holiday week.

Also, I heard from my doctor's office yesterday, they said my platelet count is back up to normal, and just to keep eating healthfully and trying to avoid sickness as much as possible to keep it up.

Also I started getting a few of the things I ordered myself with the gift cards I got from Kevin and a few family members - I'll post pictures of me wearing them soon.

That's it for now, I'll be back with another update tomorrow.

Shoulders and Arms, Pilates, and My Doctor's Appointment

Good morning! Yesterday was a rest day, which was good because I had a doctor's appointment yesterday to find out what I needed to do to treat my low platelet count. The doctor didn't do much - she did tell me that platelet count can vary from one day to the next, depending on different factors. One of my seizure medications could be affecting, it can also be affected by aspirin and ibuprofen - so if I was on my period at the time (can't remember if I was or not) and I took ibuprofen for the pain, that could have lowered my platelet count. My doctor took my blood again yesterday, and if my platelet count is still low, she's going to refer me to a hematologist. So I'm just waiting patiently to find  out about that - I'm hoping I hear something before Christmas.

This morning's workout was Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X- except I didn't do Ab Ripper X because I was running short on time, I did a short pilates ab workout that used body weight and light weights instead. Tomorrow's workout will be Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio fighter.

That's it for now, I hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Ulimate Warrior's Workout

Good afternoon! It's been a busy day, but this morning's workout was the Ultimate Warrior's workout, which I got a great workout from as usual. Other than that this morning Kevin and I went to Golden Corral for breakfast where I ate way too much, as usual. Other than that I've been spending the day working on holiday cards, and Kevin's been working on his four-wheeler. I'm hoping I can get through this week, and the following week, without gaining too much weight but we'll see - yesterday I used a few gift cards I got to order some new clothes, so I'm looking forward to getting those.

That's it for today - tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment - hoping I'll find out why my platelet count is low, or at the very least what I need to do to find out why it's low. Hope everyone has a great day!

P90x - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Hope everyone's having a great Saturday. This morning's workout was Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X. I'm glad to see my back and abs are starting to get stronger again - I was able do a few more chin-ups and keep my legs up the entire time during the Fifer Scissors exercise in Ab Ripper X.

Today I have to finish up a freelance writing project, then if I have time I'm going to start working on holiday cards. I hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Power Kata and Keeping Track of Health Data

Good morning! Got on the scale this morning and I gained half a pound this week - I'm not too worried about that though, it's only  half a pound. This morning I was going to do Interval X Plus for my workout, but I wimped out and decided to do Les Mills Combat Power Kata instead. It's ok though, still got a good workout from it.

I was also wondering, how many of you  keep track of your health data? By health data I'm not just talking about weight, I'm also talking about anything related to any conditions you might have - for example, if you have high blood pressure, do you check your blood pressure on a regular basis, if you have diabetes do you check your blood sugar, etc. As a person who has epilepsy, I need to start keeping track of when I take my medications, and if I have any seizures. etc. That would probably help me and my doctor figure out the best treatment for me, although the treatment I'm on right now seems to be working pretty well. I think I am going to start keeping track of when I take my medications, and when I have seizures again though.

That's it for now - I'm looking forward to Kevin coming home, he's been working in Atlanta for the last two weeks, but he has the next two weeks off. I unfortunately have to work every day except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day, though I will get to  leave early on New Years' Eve Day, and of course I'm not scheduled on the weekends. I'll try to post as much as I can the next few weeks, but if I don't get to post much I hope everyone has a great holiday!

Ulimate Warrior's Workout and Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! I've had a busy past few days, but yesterday I did the Ulimate Warrior's workout, and this morning's workout was Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X. Chest and Back is basic - all push and pull exercises, but it's a good workout. Tomorrow's workout will be either Power Kata or Interval X Plus, I haven't decided which yet - I may do Interval X Plus just for a change of pace. I'm also looking forward to Kevin coming home tomorrow night, I haven't seen him in two weeks.

Shoulders and Arms and Health and Fitness Goals for 2016

Good morning! This morning I did my Shoulders and Arms workout, but decided not to do Ab Ripper X - why? I don't know, I guess I was just feeling lazy. :)

I've also started thinking about my goals and resolutions for 2016 - I know I want to work on making more money from my freelance writing and transcription, but I'm not sure what kind of health and fitness goal I want to set for myself - I may try to look for some kind of fitness challenge that I can take part in for the long-term. I'll keep you all posted on what I decide to do!

Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio Fighter

Good morning! This morning's workout was Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio Fighter, which I got a good workout from, as usual. Tomorrow's going to be a rest day, then I think this coming week's workout schedule is pretty much going to look like the one for this week, though I amt thinking of switching things up a bit and throwing in an Interval X  Plus workout. I'm not sure though, I'll see how I feel. So my workout schedule for this week looks something like this:

Monday - Rest.
Tuesday - Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X
Wednesday - Ultimate Warrior's Workout.
Thursday - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X
Friday - Power Kata or Interval X Plus.
Saturday - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X
Sunday - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Hope everyone has a great day!

P90x Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X - I'm getting better at Ab Ripper X, but I still have hard time getting through Fifer Scissors. My plan for today is to work on some transcription and freelance writing work I have, so I'd better get to it. Hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Live Ultimate Warrior's Workout and lost 3 1/2 pounds this week

Good morning! This morning's workout was Les Mills Combat Live Ultimate Warrior's workout, which felt great to do. I'm also pleased to say that I lost 3 1/2 pounds this week, taking me down to 118 pounds. I'm glad to be down below 120 again, I'm hoping I can lose a little bit more next week so I can have a little "cushion" for Christmas week.

I've also started looking into ways to keep myself motivated to stay in shape - not that the weight that I've lost and the strength and energy I've gained isn't enough, but I'm beginning to feel like I need more of a challenge. I was looking into fitness competitions, because I can't see myself doing anything like a marathon or even half-marathon, but all of them look kind of scary...LOL. I don't know, I guess I'll keep looking.

P90x Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning - this morning I did P90x Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X.  That workout is all push and pull exercises (lots of push-ups and pull-ups) but it's effective.

Also been thinking about what I'm going to do to get through the holidays without gaining too much weight - I'm not sure what Kevin and I are going to be doing for the holidays, so I'm really not sure how to plan. I think we're going to be sticking around here for Christmas at least, so I may be able to to do some kind of short workout. I guess I'll just have to see as the week gets closer. For now, I at least know what I'm doing for the next two weeks.

Power Kata

Good  morning everyone - it's been a few days since I posted, and I apologize for that - the last few days have been busy for me. I'm glad to say I have worked out every day except Monday, which is usually my rest day anyway. Yesterday I did shoulders and arms and Ab Ripper X - this morning I wanted to do Extreme Cardio Fighter, but ended up being a little short on time because I had to finish up a project, so I ended up doing Power Kata instead. It's ok though, I still got a good workout from it. Going to try to just alternate my P90x and Les Mills Combat workouts the next two weeks -- not sure what I'll do Christmas week, I'll porbably try to workout as much as possible.

Hope everyone has a great day! What are you plans for getting through the holidays without gaining too much weight?

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 88 - Kenpo X

Good morning! I'm having a pretty good day so far today. I weighed myself this morning and found I'd gained a pound and a half, but that doesn't surprise me considering how much junk I ate last weekend, and the fact that my body has been trying to fight off a sore throat. This morning for a change of pace I decided to do P90x Kenpo X, because there isn't as much jumping around in it as there is in the Les Mills Combat cardio DVDs. It actually felt real good to do that video, I think I might have to add it back into my rotation. Tomorrow I'll d o Core Synergistics, and then Sunday will be X Stretch, and then I'll be done with this hybrid workout. I think for the rest of the month of December, I'm going to do the same type of routine I've been doing - P90x strength workouts alternated with Les Mills Combat cardio workouts. I'm also going to try to follow a clean eating plan that was posted in one of the groups I'm part of.

That's it for now, I hope everyone has a great weekend!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 87 - X Stretch

Good morning! This morning's workout was X Stretch, which it felt great to do because I didn't feel up to doing a real intense workout. I'm still trying to fight off my sore throat, and I think it's just about gone - this morning I used one of my mother's home treatments, gargling with salt water. Yes, it's gross but it helps loosen up the phlegm. I'm also still drinking my herbal tea to keep my throat from hurting too much. and I'll do another salt water gargle tonight. Tomorrow if I feel up to it I'll do Les Mills Combat Power Kata.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 86 - Core Synergistics and Fighting off my Sore Throat

Good morning! This morning for my workout I decided to do P90x Core Synergistics. I did pretty well at it, considering I'm still fighting off a sore throat. I've been drinking a lot of tea and eating other hot fluids like soup though, and drinking a lot of juice, so I'm hoping it goes away soon.

Also I'm pleased to say that I've created a newsletter for this blog! Now if you don't have time to read this blog every day, you can sign up to get the post sent to you on a daily basis. Just provide your first name and email below, and you'll start receiving them:

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 85 - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Good morning! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I'm sorry to say I didn't do one bit of exercise while Kevin and I were gone for the holiday, and I also pretty much fell off the wagon as far as eating right was concerned - I try, but it's  hard to eat right when you're traveling. About the most nutritious thing I had was I munched on some carrot sticks when I went over to my mother-in-law's on Saturday. I'm back now though, and starting to get back to it.

This morning's workout was supposed to be X Stretch, because I"m now in my last week of my hybrid workout, but since I haven't worked out at all in the past few days, I decided to do some cardio - I did Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio Fighter and it felt great to get back into the swing of working out. After I do my last recovery week this week, I think I'm going to do a few more weeks of P90x/Les Mills Combat hybrid workout, plus I want to try to follow this clean eating plan that I found out about: https://www.facebook.com/events/1715299852033579/.

That's it for now, I'll post again tomorrow.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 79 - Power Kata

Good morning! This morning's workout was Les Mills Combat Power Kata.  I had a good workout as usual.

I was also talking with Kevin this morning about getting a new scale - we've had a digital one for some time now and it works pretty well, as far as I can tell. Kevin's talking about wanting to get a better dial type scale though - he says he's seen dial scales that are more precision. I personally would rather get a better electronic scale - one that measures body fat as well as weight. For those of you that are reading this, what kind of scale do you have? Are you happy with it?

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 78 - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X and building up my platelet count

Good morning! This morning's workout was Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X. I had a good workout, as usual. Tomorrow I'll do Ultimate Warrior's workout.

I also think I figured out how I may be able to do my Legs and Back workout while I'm in Michigan - so I'm going to take my resistance bands with me and hopefully I'll be able to fit it in on Saturday or Sunday.

Also, I got a call from my neurologist this  morning, they haven't gotten my medication levels back yet, but they did get my CBC back and my platelet count is low. I did a little research and found some information on foods that can increase platelet count, I also found out that one of the epilepsy medications I take, Trileptal (aka oxcarbazepine) can cause platelet levels to drop. So I think I want to find out what my medication levels are first before I look at making any dietary changes.

That's about it for today, will try to do an entry tomorrow if I can remember to.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 75, 76 and 77 - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, Ultimate Warrior's Workout, and Rest Day

Good afternoon! The last few days have been busy for me, I've been working on finishing up a transcription project a client sent me. I did Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X on Saturday though, and did pretty good with that as usual. Yesterday was Ultimate Warrior's Workout, which was also a good workout. Today was my rest day. I actually had an appointment at my neurologist's office this morning - first time I've seen them in a year - felt pretty good! Talked to the nurse practitioner about an "incident" I had a few weeks ago that may be seizure related - not sure if it is, but I got bloodwork done today, so once that comes back they'll give me a call.

This week is going to be a short week because of the Thankgiving holiday - tomorrow is Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X, and Wednesday is Extreme Cardio Fighter. I'll porbably workout Thursday morning too, that one will be Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X. Friday though I'm heading out of town, so I doubt I'll get a workout in. I'll try to get in something on Saturday and Sunday, I doubt if I will though. The following week is the last week of my P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid - hard to believe! I'm actually thinking of keeping up alternating the P90x and Les Mills Combat workouts through the month of December, then in January once the holidays are over, trying the P90x/P90x Plus hybrid workout. Hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 73 and 74 - Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X and Power Kata, and 7.5 pound loss!!

Good morning! Been busy the past few days, but yesterday I did a shoulders and arms and Ab Ripper X workout, which I enjoyed as usual, and this morning's workout was Power Kata, which I also enjoyed. I also got on the scale this morning and saw that I was down to 112.5 - that's a 7 1/2 pound loss from last week, and it's also the lowest I've ever been! I doubt I'll be able to maintain that, especially since Kevin's going to be home for the next few weeks - he's not going back to work until the first of December.

I also decided what I want to do for the month of December - I think I'm going to keep up my P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid a little bit, at least as much as I can with the traveling and the other things we'll be doing during the month of December. In January I'll look at doing something different - maybe trying P90x 3 or doing a P90x/P90x Plus Hybrid workout, with Les Mills Combat workouts for the cardio workouts.

That's it for now, I hope everyone has a great Friday and a great weekend!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 72 - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Good morning! Having a good day so far, I did Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio Fighter this morning, which I got a great workout from. I also talked to one of my supervisors yesterday and asked her about possibly doing something else for part of the time instead of being on the phone all the time - she said she would look into something after the beginning of the year. In the meantime, I got the idea of creating a website for my company that would have the same type of content on it that we used to put in our newsletters - I like that because it's a creative project I can work on when things aren't busy. I like either being creative, or working on things where I don't have to be on the phone as much, and this little project is both.

That's it for now, I hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Days 70 and 71 - Rest Day and Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X and Trying to Find Myself

Good morning! The last few days have been good, yesterday was my rest day and I took advantage of it. This morning's workout was Chest and  Back and Ab Ripper X - both went well, I actually used my weights as push-up bars on a few of the push-up exercises during Chest and Back, and that seemed to help.

Also lately I've been noticing I'm starting to get kind of bored with  my life - what I want exactly, I don't know. But this past weekend I worked on transcribing an interview that a client who's a PhD student did with someone he talked for for his dissertation, and I started to think about maybe going back to school - to do what, I'm not sure. I started looking at Masters Degree programs at some of the local universities, and found that one of them has a Masters in Entrepreneurship program that's completely online - it looked pretty cool, but I'm not exactly sure what I'd use it for. Yeah, it would help me learn more about what it takes to run your own business, but I could learn about that in the time that it takes to complete the degree. So I'm not sure. I'll keep everyone updated on what I find out during my "self discovery" journey.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 68 and 69 - Legs and Back and Ultimate Warrior's Workout

Good morning! Sorry I never wrote yesterday, I ended up getting very busy with some other projects. Yesterday's workout was Legs and Back, and instead of doing Ab Ripper X I decided to do a pilates workout for abs, just for a little change. This morning's workout was Ultimate Warrior's workout.

This coming week my workout will be changing up again.  This week's schedule looks like this:

Tuesday - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Wednesday - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Thursday - Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X

Friday - Power Kata

Saturday - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X

Sunday - Ultimate Warrior's Workout

I'm looking forward to it, it should be a good week - the following week will be my last week of the program - not sure exactly how it's going to go though, because I'll only be working out for part of the week, because Kevin and I are going to be going up to Michigan for Thanksgiving weekend.

That's it for now, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 66 and 67 - Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X and Power Kata

Good morning! Had a good past few days, yesterday I did Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X, and this morning's workout was Power Kata. This morning I also got on the scale and found that I gained 3 1/2 pounds - I was right at 120. I'm not surprised, considering some of the things that Kevin and I ate this week. I need to work on getting that back down.  Tomorrow's workout will be Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, and Sunday will be Live Ultimate Warrior's workout. I'm also thinking of maybe doing an extra short workout tomorrow or Sunday if have the time - maybe something like Power HIIT or Kickstart.

Next week my workout schedule changes up again - it looks like this:

Monday - Rest Day
Tuesday - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X
Wednesday - Extreme Cardio Fighter
Thursday - Shoulders and Arms & Ab Ripper X
Friday - Power Kata
Saturday - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X
Sunday - Ultimate Warrior's Workout

That's it for today,  hope everyone has a great Friday!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 63-65

Good morning! Sorry for the lack of presence, but the last few days have been busy for me. Monday was my rest day - and this time I actually did rest, didn't even do a stretching workout.  Yesterday's workout was Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X, which went well as usual, and this morning was Extreme Cardio Fighter - that went well (at least the part that I did went well) but ended up being short because I think I had a partial seizure during it - one minute I was working out, the next thing I knew it was only 7:30 and I was done already, which I knew wasn't right. I have those every so often, but I usually don't think much of them.

Today I also decided to try something different, I set up a high-contrast black theme on Google Chrome to see if that helps keep my eyes from getting too tired - for those of you who spend a lot of time in front of your computers, I'd recommend doing the same thing. It makes your screen look weird - any pictures you look at will kind of look like x-rays - but so far it really does seem to be helping my eyes. The theme I'm using on Google Chrome is from Hacker Vision - if you use Google Chrome I'd recommend checking it out. The one thing I like is that you can switch back and forth between the high contrast theme and a regular theme, if there are sites you'd rather look at normally.

That's it for now, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Days 61 and 62 - Legs and Back/Ab Ripper X and Ultimate Warrior's Workout

Good morning! The last few days have been good days as far as my workouts are concerned - yesterday I did Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X - had a bit of a hard time getting through Ab Ripper X, at least the Fifer Scissors exercise, but I made it through it. Had a good workout from Ultimate Warrior's workout, as usual.

Yesterday Kevin and I went to Golden Corral for brunch, and I ate way too much, as usual - I ate so much that I didn't have to eat a whole lot the rest of the day. I really need to work on controlling myself when we go there and finding lower calorie, lower fat things to eat.

That's it for today, I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Les Mills Combat/P90x Hybrid Workout Days 59 & 60 - Shoulders and Arms and Power Kata

Good morning! I've had some good workouts the past few days - yesterday's workout was Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X, which I got a great workout from as usual. Today I did Power Kata and got a great workout from that also. I also weighed myself this morning and found that I gained half a pound.  I'm not going to sweat it though, it's only half a pound.

I also think I'm going to start making meditation part of my daily routine again. I've been working on an eBook project this week about meditation for a new client on Upwork, and I've found a lot of interesting information about it. I actually did a short guided meditation this morning on YouTube before I worked out, and I felt great afterwards. So I'm hoping I can start making it part of my routine again so I can start feeling better on a regular basis.

Not sure what I'll do this weekend, I know a lot of the time is going to be spent working on this eBook so I can get it back to my client. I'm also hoping to get some time in doing stuff with my husband, but we'll see. Hope everyone has a great week!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 58 - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Good morning! This morning's workout was Extreme Cardio Fighter, which felt great.

I've also been thinking more about the YouTube video I shared in my post yesterday, "Do You Wash Your Fruits and Vegetables Before You Eat Them." I personally don't was most of my fruits and vegetables before I eat them, because I usually buy stuff that's either frozen or pre-washed and cut up already, like baby carrots and bagged salads. Now if I had my own garden, like the guy who did this YouTube video and a lot of the people that he talked to do, I might rinse my fruits and vegetables off if I saw dirt or bugs on them.

That's it for today, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 57 - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X and Do you Wash Your Fruits and Vegetables Before You Eat Them?

Good morning! I had a good workout this morning, I did Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X. I love Chest and Back, it's a bit different from Chest, Shoulders and Triceps because it's all (or mostly) push and pull exercises. I  like to use my stability ball for the decline push-ups and back flies.

I've also been transcribing a YouTube video on a kind of interesting subject - do you wash your fruits and vegetables before you eat them? I personally have always washed things like apples and any other fruits or vegetables that I have to bag myself, but some of the bagged vegetables like my baby carrots and salads I never wash. However the people in this YouTube video had different views on the subject. Check it out:

That's it for this post, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 54-56

Good morning! Sorry it has been so long since I wrote, this weekend has been very busy for me. My last few workouts have been good ones, on Saturday I did X Stretch, which I love - it gives me a great stretch, and yesterday I did Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio fighter, which I got a great cardio workout from. This morning was supposed to be a rest day, but I decided to do a 45 minute indoor walking workout. Got a great workout from it, and got a lot of steps in.

That's it for now, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 53 - Power Kata and Plan for the Month of November

Good morning! This morning's workout was Les Mills Combat Power Kata - you  all already know how much I love that workout so I won't go into it again. :). I also weighed myself this morning and was pleased to see that I lost 3 1/2 pounds over the last 2 weeks. I also made up my plan for the last 4 weeks of this hybrid, it should be an interesting four weeks since I'll be alternating between Chest and Back/Shoulders and Arms/Legs and Back one week and Chest, Shoulders and Tris/Back and Biceps/Legs and Back the next. I'll be finished with it by the first week of December. I also started looking into what I want to do for the month of December - I know I don't want to start another P90x/Les Mills  Combat rotation because it's going to be a pretty crazy month with Christmas and whatnot. I think I'm going to do 21 Day Fix (at least the workouts) that month, and then maybe try something like Body Beast starting int he new year. I'm going to hopefully be starting to do more transcription and freelance writing in the month of November, so I'm hoping by December I'll be able to afford to get Beachbody on Demand for a few months at least. I'll keep everyone posted!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 52 - X Stretch

Good morning! Had a great morning this morning, did P90x X Stretch, which felt great - I love that it gives an all over stretch, I just wish it was a little shorter. Felt great afterwards though, it's amazing how much your flexibility improves with regular stretching. Tomorrow's workout is Power Kata, and then I have another X Stretch workout on Saturday, but I'm thinking of replacing that with another stretching workout - perhaps a Pilates workout or some other stretching workout that I find on YouTube. Hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat/P90x Hybrid Workout Day 51 - Ultimate Warrior's Workout

Good morning! This morning's workout was Ultimate Warrior's workout, which I got a great workout from as usual. My muscles are feeling a lot better too, they're not sore anymore like they were after doing all the walking I did on Friday.

I'm also still waiting for the person that said they were going to hire me for this eBook writing project to "officially" hire me and make the project live. I want to see what the topic is going to be so I can start doing some research on it and plan the layout of the eBook. In the  meantime I've also started "tinkering" with the layout of this website I had created a while back to kind of advertise my writing and transcription. I may buy hosting for it in the not-too-distant future.

That's it for now, hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat/P90x Hybrid Workout Day 50 - Core Synergistics

Good morning! This morning's workout went well, I did P90x Core Synergistics and was able to get through all of it - I'm always amazed at how much my strength improves and how much I'm able to do for that workout. Although at one time I was almost able to do Dreya Rolls without using my hands to push myself off - now I cant, I'd like to get back to that again.

I'm looking forward to this week, because I've been hired for a freelance project to write a short eBook (6500 words). It should be interesting, I hope the person is happy with it!

Les Mills Combat/P90x Hybrid Workout Day 49 - Indoor Walking Workout

Good  morning! Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I felt inspired by the amount of walking I did on Friday, so I decided to do a 45 minute indoor walking workout. It felt great, even though it wasn't very strenous. This week is going to be a recovery week for me with lots of stretching, some Core Synergistics and some Les Mills Combat Workouts. I'm looking forward to it, hope everyone has a great week!

Les Mills Combat/P90x Hybrid Workouts Days 47 and 48 - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, and Les Mills Combat Power Kata

Good morning! Sorry it's been a few days since I've updated, I've been kind of busy the past few days. I hope you all enjoyed the special post on Friday. Friday ended up not going as planned, but I'll get into that in a minute. I kind of changed things up as far as my workouts are concerned the past few days - yesterday I did Les Mills Combat Power Kata when I was supposed to have done Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, and this morning I did Legs and Back and a pilates workout for abs that used both mat and weight exercises.

Okay, now about Friday...it started off well enough, I got  up at 4:00 so that we could leave the apartment at 5:00 to get to the airport. We got there and got parked, and went in and got our boarding passes and went through TSA - TSA actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, the scanner did light up something in my chest area, which was probably something from my open heart surgery, so the TSA person did some extra scanning on me and then sent me on my way. Once we got to the gate we got some breakfast, and then waited for our flight to board. Our flight to Philadelphia wasn't bad, it actually arrived in Philadelphia a little early. Once we got to Philadelphia however, we looked up at the monitors and found out our connecting flight to Long Island had been cancelled :(.  So we went to the special services desk to find out what they could do - they said they could send us to Hartford, Connecticut or to La Guardia Airport in New York City - neither option was good though, Hartford would ahve put us about 40 miles from where we needed to be, and La Guardia would have put is about 60 miles - so after my husband talked with my stepmom, she said we should just go home, and that my little brother would speak on our behalf. It was a very disappointing, very unhappy day for me when that happened, because I was really looking forward to seeing family that I hadn't seen in many years - my Uncle Ralph and my cousin, Emma, and to being able to say goodbye to my grandfather. I was, and still am very angry at American Airlines, although I've calmed down considerably since Friday. One good thing about Friday, is I got in over 10,000 steps that day. My body was actually very stiff and sore yesterday, and still feels a little stiff and sore today.

Anyways that was my workouts for the past few days, as well as my experience with trying to fly to New York on Friday. Tomorrow I may actually do an indoor walking workout on YouTube, just to start getting a little more walking in. I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Do You Prefer to Eat Three Larger Meals or a Bunch of Small Meals? Why?

Since I'm out of town today, I decided to do something different. I've been collecting opinions from people on whether they prefer to eat three larger meals or a bunch of smaller meals, and why. Both eating styles have their advantages and disadvantages - eating several smaller meals over the course of the day can be better for people who have certain health problems, or who are very busy and don't have time to sit down and eat larger meals. I personally eat three larger meals and three snacks throughout the day - I find eating this way keeps me from getting too hungry at meal times. Here's what other people had to say about how they eat:

Q. Do you eat three larger meals every day, or a bunch of small meals?

A. Kari (Blogger And Writer)

I eat a bunch of small meals throughout my day. I usually have a small bite to eat in the morning, a small lunch, a snack in the afternoon, a small supper, and a snack at night. If I'm on vacation and need to eat out, then that schedule changes to three larger meals.
My preference is to eat three larger meals in a day. Eating a meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner helps socially, because I can eat at work with co-workers without judgement or questions on my meal size. Additionally, Since I tend to be fairly busy throughout my day, It's easier to carve out time, for eating and also the prep time, three meals rather than for multiple seperate meals.

A. Phil Turner (The Knowledge Man)

I eat 3 larger meals every day. I have a breakfast that varies from fresh fruit and oats to a full fried plateful of bacon and eggs. I have a light lunch of home-made soup and my main meal about 4 or 5pm with a very light supper at about 7pm.

A. David Leonhardt (Ghostwriters for Hire)

I'm a grazer.  I eat all day long.  When we are not together as a family, I don't really eat "meals".  I tend to eat 6-7 snacks during the day, which breaks up my activities and at least keeps me drinking (since I don't tend to drink water on its own, only when I eat).
I also get my meals confused sometimes.  Did you know that a bowl of cereal with milk and raisins makes a wonderful late night snack?  And that it also makes a handy breakfast?

A. Todd Trahan (President of SERT Data Recovery)
I prefer to eat a well balanced meal, not too small to be a snack but with enough carbs, protienm and fat every 2-3 hours throught the day. It really depends on what your goals are with regards to the amount of grams of each, however this type of frequency will help the metabolism speed up and keep your body feuled up throughout the day.

Q. Why do you prefer to eat like this?

A. Kari (Blogger And Writer)

I like to eat smaller meals because I don't like the feeling of being too full or too hungry. I've heard that being too full (overeating) can mess with your hormones and cause you to store more fat. And, when I'm too hungry I often get dizzy and weak, due to low blood sugar.
Larger meals are easier to time and seem more fulfilling overrall. Also, Carrying multiple small meals with me throughout my busy day isn't the easiest. I tend to like things to be as simple and efficient as possible. Multiple food containers, scheduling meal times and prep time for multiple meals is too much to add to my schedule at this time.

A. Phil Turner (The Knowledge Man)

I prefer to eat like this even though I know 5 smaller meals burn off more calories. I did try eating a 2-stage breakfast and lunch, but basically I found I was eating non-stop, I prefer to have 3-4 hour gaps between my main meals and just to snack on fruit in between.
A. David Leonhardt (Ghostwriters for Hire)

I'm a grazer due to simple math.  If one eats three meals a day, and one is up for 16 hours, that implies at least 5 hours between meals.  But I am hungry after two hours.
The math is equally clear on the flip side of the equation.  After eating a good, healthy portion, one is no longer hungry.  Yes, one can still eat (and if there is cheesecake in front of me, I have been known in some quarters to do so), but one is no longer hungry.

So, for instance, when we plan dessert at supper, I usually suggest waiting until later for dessert, since we'll all want a snack before bed anyway - why eat a dessert now and a snack later, when the dessert will do for both if we just wait?  Amazingly, after so many years, people around here are starting to listen to me (Yes!  I've worn them down!)

A. Todd Trahan (President of SERT Data Recovery)
It keeps the gas tank full and your body has energy throughout the whole day. It's healthy becasue it also keep your bowel movements regular and consistent. It will cut down on the cravings of other filler foods that might not be as healthy. It also helpys your body to be on a regular routine and helps avoid binge eating.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 45 - Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Had a good workout this morning, I did P90x Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X. This time I made it all the way through it - last week for some reason I stopped after the first set of strip set curls - I think I may have had a partial seizure. I decided to use my bands to do my pull-up exercises this morning rather than having my husband put up my chin-up bar - I didn't feel like waking him up. Still got a good workout even using the bands instead of my chin-up bar. That's going to be my last workout until probably Saturday - tomorrow I fly out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport to go to my grandfather's burial up in New York. Although I'm sure I'll get lots of exercise walking through airports, I doubt I'll get a "real" workout in tomorrow - we're supposed to arrive in Long Island around 11:20 and we won't be back in Raleigh until about midnight - so it's going to be a long day. I do have a special post scheduled to post tomorrow though, so be sure to look out for that.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 44 - Live Ultimate Warrior's Workout and Ways I've Changed Since I Got In Shape

Good morning! This morning's workout was Live Ultimate Warrior's Workout, which as you know if you've been following this blog for a while, is one of my favorites. I get a great workout from it, it combines all the different types of karate, and I love the music in it.

I also wanted to take a minute and ask you all, how have you changed since  you got in shape? Not only physically, but in other areas of your life? I know personally, I've started to care more about my appearance. I've started trying to wear clothes that are a little nicer every now and then, even if I'm not going any place special - like the last few days I've been wearing some sweater sets (sleeveless sweater combined with a cardigan that goes over it) that my aunt gave me, because it's starting to get colder outside here in North Carolina. I've also started to pay more attention to other areas of my appearance. I'm actually kind of looking forward to my grandfather's burial on Friday, because I'll see a lot of people that I haven't seen since before I started working on getting into shape.

Anyway, that's it for now - tomorrow I'll do another workout post, and then on Friday I'm going to post a special post, since I'll be out of town and won't be able to post my normal post. Hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 43 - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was good, did Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X. Felt good to do that workout on new carpet.  Ab Ripper X is definitely starting to get easier for me again, it's time for me to find ways to make it a little more challenging. That's it for now, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 40, 41, and 42

Hey everyone, sorry it's been so long since I wrote, I've been busy with a project for one of my transcription clients. I'm glad to say I've been keeping up with my workouts though. On Saturday I did my P90x Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X workout, which went well - my abs are starting to get stronger, and my  legs are as strong as they've ever been. Yesterday's workout was Extreme Cardio Fighter, which I love. Today was a rest day for me. This week's workout schedule is going to be a bit messed up since I'll be going out of town on Friday, but this is my workout schedule for the week:

Tuesday Chest, Shoulders k/Ab Ripper X
Wednesday - Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior's Workout
Thursday - Back and Biceps/Ab Ripper X
Friday - Off because I'll be out of town
Saturday - Legs and Back/Ab Ripper X
Sunday - Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio Fighter

That's it for this post, hope everyone has a great week!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 39 - Power Kata and Question

Good morning - this morning's workout was Power Kata, which made me feel great. I also got on the scale this morning and discovered I gained half a pound. I'm not going to worry about it though, I'll get it off.

I also have a question for anyone who wants to give their opinion on it...why are some people so reluctant to change habits they know are bad? For example, giving up drinking or eating high fat or high sugar foods. I'll admit I'm not perfect, but a few years ago I gave up drinking caffeine (not by choice, my husband went out of town and left me with nothing but caffeine-free sodas) and after I went through caffeine withdrawal I felt great afterwards - I haven't touched caffeine since. I chose to eat a lower fat diet and do Beachbody workouts because I like what they've done for my body. Because of them, and because of the fact that I've been eating better, I'm now in the best shape  of my life. I'm not saying this to brag, I'm saying it to show how easy it is to change your habits and get in better health, or adopt other habits.

Anyway, that's it for now - if you want to give your opinion on the above question, feel free to comment below. I'm looking forward to this weekend, Kevin will be riding the Hatfield-McCoy trail in West Virginia and I'll have some time to myself to work on a few things. One of these times I'll go with him just so I can see a different area of the US. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 38 - Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Had a good workout this morning - did P90x Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X. Got a great workout from it as usual, though I'm still having problems with some of the chin-up exercises. I'm getting better though, I can do more chin-ups than I could when I first re-started my P90x workouts, and I'm getting stronger every time I do them.

That's about all I have for today. Tomorrow's workout is Les Mills Combat Power Kata. I'm also looking forward to having some time to myself this weekend while Kevin is in West Virginia riding the Hatfield-McCoy trail - I plan to use the time to get some things done that I need to do.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 37 - Ultimate Warrior's Workout

Good morning! I'm having a good day so far. This morning's workout was Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior's workout, and I got a good workout from it as always.

I've also decided to start working on expanding my mind as well - not that I haven't already been doing that with learning Spanish, but I decided to work on improving my memory. I just finished a book called "Unlimited Memory" - I learned a lot of great things from it about how to remember numbers, as well as people's faces, and things that I read. Some of the techniques I learned are things that I do already, like mind mapping, but I learned one system for remembering numbers that I found particularly interesting - it turns numbers into words, and then to remember the numbers all you have to do is picture those words in your mind. You just have to remember the words that are associated with two digit numbers. Right now I'm in the process of memorizing the words for the numbers from 00 to 100.

That's it for this post, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 36 - Chest Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X. I love that workout because some of the exercises in it are unique, like Floor Flys and Pour Flys. Never seen those exercises anywhere before except for in Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. I hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 35 - Rest Day and Changes Coming to this Blog

Good afternoon everyone! Today was a rest day as far as my workouts are concerned, though I did get some exercise when I did some cleaning this morning.

I'm also excited to say that there's going to be some changes coming to this blog. I'm trying to expand the scope of it to include not only posts about my workouts, but also posts about nutrition in general. One post I'm planning on writing soon is a post about the types of diets everyone follows (or has followed) to lose weight - most of the Beachbody workouts include some kind of eating plan with them, and every one is a little different. I think it's  important to see how different eating plans can be beneficial for different people. If you're interested in finding out more about the new types of posts I'll be publishing, please sign up for my email list!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 34 - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Good morning! Had a great workout this morning, did Extreme Cardio Fighter, which I love because of all the diversity in it. Kind of looking forward to tonight because Kevin and I will be watching the season premiere of one of our favorite shows, The Walking Dead. We've been watching bits and pieces of the marathon that's been showing for the past few days to get prepared. I'm hoping we don't spend the whole day on the couch - we ended up spending part of the day on the couch yesterday, but not all of it.

My workout schedule for this coming week is going to be identical to last week - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps on Tuesday, Ultimate Warrior Workout on Wednesday, Back and Biceps on Thursday, Power Kata on Friday, Legs and Back on Saturday, and Extreme Cardio Fighter on Sunday. Hope everyone has a great week!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 33 - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good afternoon! I'm having a good day so far today, I got up this morning and did Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X - I'm continuing to get better at chin-ups, but still can't do more than 3 or 4 before my muscles give out. After my workout Kevin and I went to Golden Corral and had breakfast - I wanted to have cereal with some skim milk there, but of course they had only sugar-laden cereals and no skim milk, or at least half percent milk. So I ended  up eating some of the not-so-good breakfast selections that I like there, like sausages and these little potato slices. Not sure what we'll do the rest of the day, it's kind of a rainy, overcast day out - Kevin is outside working on his four wheeler right now and I'm working on a few things here, maybe we'll watch a little TV later, or if the weather clears up we might go see a movie. Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 32 - Power Kata and Discovering New Health Apps for My New Phone

Good morning! I had a good workout this morning, did Power Kata which I love because of the music in it. I also weighed myself and I'm at 119, so I gained a little bit from last week. That's okay though, I'm still under 120 - that's what I strive to stay at or under.

I've also found a few "interesting" health apps for my new phone. One that I tried yesterday is called EpDetect - it's an app that detects epileptic seizures, and then notifies the listed caregiver that the person is having a seizure.  Problem with it is, it only detects really violent tonic-clonic seizures. It would be great for me if that's what I had most often, but the seizures I have are usually complex partial seizures. I also downloaded an app called D Minder - it keeps track of how much vitamin D you're getting from the sun as well as from supplements. I really haven't been able to use that one enough yet to form an opinion of it, but once I've used it a little more I'll be sure to tell you want I think of it. I've also been using S Health a little bit - that's the health app that came pre-loaded on my Samsung phone. It's got some interesting features - my phone has a little fingertip heart rate monitor, and I can use that app to keep track of it. Not sure how much I like the heart rate monitor though, I don't think it's very accurate. I took my heart rate before I started working out and after I finished my workout - before I started working out it said my heart rate was 75 bpm, and after I finished my workout it said my heart rate was 81 bpm - I have a hard time believing it only went up 6 beats during my workout. Another thing is it's very difficult to use - if you don't position your finger just right over the sensor, it won't be able to measure your heart rate.

That's it for now, I will write more later. Hope everyone has a great Friday!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 31 - Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning I did another one of my favorite workouts, Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X. I had to improvise on my pull-ups and chin-ups by using my resistance band however, because I forgot to have Kevin put up my chin-up bar last night. It still worked well though. Tomorrow's workout is Power Kata. Tomorrow is also Friday, I'm looking forward to seeing if I've lost any weight or at least maintained from last week.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 30 - Les Mills Combat Live Ultimate Warrior's Workout and Tips for Making Winter Wake-Ups Easier

Good morning! I had a good workout this morning, I did Live Ultimate Warrior's workout, which is my favorite Les Mills Combat workout - I love the punch and kick combinations in it, and the fact that it combines a little bit of all the different martial arts disciplines.

As the winter months approach, I also wanted to share a few tips that I found to make fall and winter wake-ups easier. I found these on a website called apartmenttherapy.com:

• Have a drink.
Drinking water as soon as you wake up will help stimulate the body and help you stay awake. I always keep a glass of water on the nightstand, ready for that morning sip.

 Program the coffee maker.
Relatedly, programming the coffee maker to go off so that coffee is ready for me in the morning is a big help. The sound of the grinding and the scent of the coffee are big pick-me-ups. If it's still too tough to rouse yourself for a cup, put the pot near your bed. There's nothing wrong with having a bit coffee in bed as long as you actually wake up to drink it and refuse the impulse to linger there for hours.

• Drink something before you sleep.
By the time your alarm goes off, you will probably have to use the bathroom and won't be able to go back to sleep comfortably.

• Don't allow yourself to reason with yourself.
This is probably my biggest wake-up mistake. I resolve the night before to wake up early, but of course, my groggy 6 a.m. brain tells me that it's better for me to get enough sleep or that the world will wait if I rest for five more minutes (which inevitably turns into forty-five). You can convince yourself of a hundred different reasons to stay in bed when you're still tired, even if it's not really the best course of action. Try to shut off all that "logic" and force yourself to make getting out of bed a physical, automatic routine. Train yourself to respond immediately to the alarm without relying on conscious willpower. This article suggests using daytime exercises to instill the habit of getting up right away.

• Have something to look forward to.
It's much easier to get out of bed when you focus on something you actually want to do instead of on the drudgery of what you must do. Try setting aside a few minutes in the morning for a ritual that will help you look forward to waking up. Maybe it's coffee in bed, the time to flip through a design magazine, or a shower with a special soap. Or, if there's nothing ritualistic that strikes your fancy, try to think of a getting-up reward the night before. Maybe you want to read another chapter in that book you can't put down, or perhaps you want to treat yourself to a fancier-than-usual breakfast. Whatever it may be, try to give yourself something that will help you start the day right.

• If you wake up before your alarm goes off, get out of bed.
If you go back to sleep or wait for the alarm, chances are, you'll feel drowsier. Follow your natural sleep cycles, seize the day, and embrace those extra minutes if your body tells you it's time to get up.

• Do something active.
You may not have the time or energy for a full-blown exercise routine every morning, but get your body moving somehow. Bop around a bit more than usual while you get ready in the morning or add a few minutes of jogging in place to the routine. I take three minutes to dance to whatever pop tune is striking my fancy. (Today's was particularly good.) If you can't even muster the energy to get out of bed, just force yourself to wiggle around under the covers or tense and un-tense your muscles several times to get your body in gear.

• Take a shower as soon as you get out of bed.
The water and change in temperature will get your circulation going. I also recommend a shower gel with mint or some other invigorating scent to help make you more alert. I've also heard of keeping a peppermint or lemon by your bedside to help facilitate the wake-up process through aromatherapy.

• Remind yourself of what you have to do.
Fixing these things in your mind at night might make it harder to relax and get to sleep, so it can be helpful, both as nighttime catharsis and morning wake-up, to note your to-do list on a small whiteboard or a piece of paper kept on the nightstand. It will help you feel at night like you have those things handled, or at least noted, for the following day, and it will give you more reason to get up in the morning.
 • If none of this works, there's the obvious tip of setting the alarm clock across the room.

I love these ideas, especially the one about drinking something before you go to bed, and drinking some water as soon as you wake up - I think I may try those tonight. I've also thought about doing my workout as soon as I wake up - then getting my shower, getting dressed and working on my stuff afterwards - the problem with that early in the morning, while my husband is still sleeping, is the best time for me to work on my other projects, like transcription or freelance writing. So I think I'll stick with that for now and maybe try the drinking water before I go to bed and after I wake up first. What are your favorite tricks for getting up on cold mornings?

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Days 28 and 29 - Rest Day and P90x Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X

Good morning everyone! Having a great morning so far, yesterday was a rest day, which was good because I needed to get caught up on some other things. This morning though I started the next phase of my P90x/Les Mills Combat hybrid with Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X. I love that workout because it has some different exercises in it, like pour flies, floor flies and pike presses. The rest of my week looks like this:

Weds - Combat 60 Live Ultimate Warriors Workout
Thursday - Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X
Friday - Combat 45 Power Kata
Saturday - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X
Sunday - Combat 60 Extreme Cardio Fighter

Hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Days 26 and 27 - X Stretch and Combat 60 Live Ultimate Warrior's Workout

Hi, sorry I forgot to post  yesterday, it ended up being a busy day. Yesterday's workout was X Stretch, which felt great as usual. This morning I did Combat 60 Live Ultimate Warrior's workout, which has to be my favorite workout.

I'm also pleased to say I'm  officially done with all of my Rosetta Stone Spanish lessons! Now I just plan to go on there every so often to check and see if there are any adaptive recall lessons so that I can stay up to date on it. I also plan to start practicing my company's scripts so that I can learn them. I want to start practicing with the other Spanish-speaking interviewers soon so that I can get a feel for what the interviews are like.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 25 - Core Synergistics and a short Pilates workout

Good morning! This morning's workout was Core Synergistics - love the workout, did all of the exercises except for the last three.  Also decided to do a short pilates workout that was on one of my non-Beachbody DVDs. That also felt great - looking forward to adding that workout in a few times a week on a regular basis. I also weighed myself this morning and lost half a pound. I'm happy with that considering Kevin and I ate Chinese last night. Looking forward to finishing up my recovery week this weekend and starting the next phase of my P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid on Tuesday!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 24 - X Stretch

Good morning - this morning's workout was good, I did X Stretch, which is one I hardly ever do. It made me feel good - my muscles got stretched out, and it also helped me focus and relax a little, so I'm not feeling as anxious as I was before I started the workout. I think I'm going to start trying to do a little stretching every day, even if it's just for 10  minutes at the end of my workout. I'm looking forward to having a good day today - hope everyone else does too!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 23 - Power Kata

Good morning! This morning's workout was Power Kata, which felt great to do. I love Power Kata because it combines a little bit of everything into a 45 minute workout. Tried to track it using my Pact app, but for some reason my phone decided to re-start in the middle of my workout, so I had to contact Pact to see if they can reset it for me, since it's still showing as in progress. I'll do an extra cardio workout this weekend to make up for it. Tomorrow's workout will be an X Stretch workout, which is going to feel great. Everyone have a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 22 - P90x Core Synergistics

Good morning! This morning's workout was P90x Core Synergistics. Felt great to do that workout again, I love that workout because it's a total body workout that combines both aerobics and some strength training, and also works the core a little, so it covers it all. Tomorrow's workout is Combat 45 Power Kata - looking forward to that workout! Everyone have a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Workout Day 21 - Rest Day

Good morning! Today was another rest day - tomorrow I start doing the recovery week that I described yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing how much improvement I've made when I start my next phase next week!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 20 - Combat 60 Live: Ultimate Warrior Workout

Good morning! Had a good workout this morning - did the Ultimate Warrior's Workout, which I love because it incorporates all the different martial arts - kickboxing, karate, tae kwon do, capoeira... everything. Gives me a great workout. This week I'm looking forward to a recovery week though. Here's my workout schedule this week:

Tomorrow: Rest Day

Tuesday - Core Synergistics

Wednesday - Power Kata

Thursday - X Stretch

Friday - Core Synergistics

Saturday - X Stretch

Sunday - Power Kata

After this week I'm looking forward to getting into the second phase of my P90x/Les Mills Combat Workout.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 19 - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X.

Good evening! Today has been a busy day - this morning I did my Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X workout, and it went well - my legs and back are definitely getting stronger, I can tell I'm doing more pull-ups than I was at the beginning of this block. Today I spent most of the afternoon visiting friends in Thomasville, which was a nice change of pace. Tomorrow's workout will be Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior's Workout. Next week will start my first recovery week.

Friday, September 25, 2015

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 18 - Power Kata

Good morning! This morning I weighed myself and found I'd gained a pound. Not completely surprised though, since my time of the month started yesterday. This morning's workout was Power Kata, and I got a great workout from it as usual. Tomorrow's workout is Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, and then Sunday's will be Ultimate Warrior's Workout.

Not sure what else I'll be doing this weekend, we'll have to see what the weekend brings.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 17 - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X. I'm glad to see I'm slowly able to do more pull-ups, and I'm getting back to where I used to be with the Ab exercises. I'm looking forward to taking a break from so much strength work next week when I do my recovery week, which will mostly be Core Synergistics, Les Mills Combat kickboxing workouts and X Stretch! Tomorrow's workout will be Power Kata.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 16 - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Good morning! I'm having a good day so far today. This morning's workout was Extreme Cardio Fighter, which definitely gave me a great workout. Used my heart rate monitor during it again, but for some reason I'm having a hard time getting the information on it because I can't get my Vivosmart to sync with the website. Oh well I'll keep working on it.

Yesterday I also found out about an interesting device for tracking seizure activity called the Embrace Seizure tracker bracelet - it's similar to my Vivosmart, except that it tracks activity, stress and monitors seizures. I'm going to check it out because it sounds like something that could really help me manage my epilepsy better.

That's it for now, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 15 - Shoulders and Arms

Good morning! This morning I took longer than I planned on to do my Spanish lessons, because I was having problems getting a high enough score on the writing activity, so I ended up skipping Ab Ripper X and only doing Shoulders and Arms. Still got a great workout from that. Looking forward to having a great day today, hope the rest of you all do too!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 14 - Rest Day

Good afternoon! Sorry I'm so late posting. Today is a rest day for me. I always enjoy my rest days because it gives my body a chance to recuperate. This morning I used the extra hour to hour and 15 minutes I gained to get caught up on some things. I'm looking forward to my workout schedule this week:

Tomorrrow: Shoulders and Arms/Ab Ripper X

Wednesday: Combat 60 - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Thursday: Chest and Back/Ab Ripper X

Friday: Combat 45 - Power Kata

Saturday: Legs and Back/Ab Ripper X

Sunday: Combat 60 Live - Ultimate Warrior's Workout

Hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 13 - Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior's Workout

Good morning! This morning's workout was the Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior's Workout. Got a great workout from it as usual. Used my heart rate monitor again with some of my heart rate monitor cream on it to keep the electrodes moist, and was able to get an accurate heart rate during the workout. Here it is:

Again, the heart rate is the graph on the bottom - if you can't see it you can click on the image to see a larger version of it.

This week brings more of the same - P90x workouts Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and Les Mills Combat workouts Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I'm hoping I continue to get stronger with my chin-ups, I'll be sure to update you on my progress with those.

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Days 11 and 12 - Power Kata and Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Sorry I forgot to post yesterday, but it was a pretty busy day yesterday. Yesterday I did Power Kata, which went well except that for some reason I wasn't able to track the workout with Pact - I think it might have been because my battery alarm came up during the workout - I think that might have affected it somehow. This morning I did Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, which I got a great workout from as usual. I also tried out my Bah Bump Heart Rate monitor cream which  arrived Thursday - it worked pretty well - it kept the electrodes on my heart rate monitor most enough so that they could track my heart rate during my workout - this is what my heart rate looked like during this morning's workout:

It may be kind of hard to see, but heart rate is the graph on the bottom. That was for a strength workout, later today I might try doing a short aerobics workout and see how different it is.

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 10 - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Had a pretty good workout this morning, did Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X. I'm pleased to see I'm getting better at chin-ups and pull-ups. I'm starting to regain some of my pull-up strength - I was able to do more of some of my pull-ups today. I'm also starting to get better at some of the ab exercises. Looking forward to seeing my strength continue to improve!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 9 - Ultimate Warriors Workout and Ways to Get in 10,000 Steps a Day

Good morning! Today is day 9 of my P90x/Les Mills Combat hybrid, and this morning I did the Ultimate Warrior's workout - I love that workout, as well as the Extreme Cardio Fighter Workout and Power Kata.

I've also been looking at easy ways to get in 10,000 steps a day - that's something that's difficult for me since I spend most of the day at home, but I'm trying to find ways to be less sedentary, even when I'm at home working. I found this interesting slideshow and thought I'd share it with you:

http://health.usnews.com/health-news/health-wellness/slideshows/easy-ways-to-get-10-000-steps-per-day/1

A lot of these don't apply to me since I do work from home, but I thought I'd share it anyway. Everyone have a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 8 - Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Having a good day so far - this morning's workout was Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X - Ab Ripper X is getting a little easier, but some of the exercises are still a little challenging for me. I'm sure I'll get used to it again as time goes on, though.

That's about all I have for today, hope everyone has a  great day!

Monday, September 14, 2015

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 7 - Rest Day

Good morning! Today is my rest day - could have done an X Stretch workout this morning, but decided not to. Tomorrow I'll do Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X, Wednesday will be Extreme Cardio Fighter, Thursday will be Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X, Friday will be Power Kata, Saturday will be Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, and Sunday will be Ultimate Warrior's Workout. Also looking forward to getting back into working on some other things this week, like some transcription.  Hope everyone has a great week!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Day 6 - Les Mills Combat Power Kata

Good afternoon everyone! Sorry it's taken me so long to post, been busy working on a few other things.  Did Les Mills Combat Power Kata this morning.  Tomorrow is my rest day - may do X Stretch but I'm not sure. Been spending the day working on a few things while Kevin's out riding at Busco Beach. When he comes back we'll do some grocery shopping and get ready for the week ahead. Hope everyone has a great day and a great week!

Saturday, September 12, 2015

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 5 - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X.  Most of the exercises went well, pull-ups are still a challenge for me but I'll get there. Got through all the leg exercises.  The only ab exercises that was really a challenge for me was Fifer Scissors - I got through all the other ones. Got on a conference call for work this morning and have some other things to work on today.  Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Friday, September 11, 2015

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 4 - Les MIlls Combat Ultimate Warrior Workout

Good morning! This morning's workout was Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior Workout, which I love (but then I love just about every workout I do...LOL). This morning I also gained some weight - about 2 1/2 pounds, but I expected it considering how much junk I ate last weekend when I was out of town. This week I plan to get back on track though! Tomorrow's workout will be P90x Legs and Back, Sunday will be Les Mills Combat Power Kata, then Monday I'll either rest or maybe do some type of stretching workout, then Tuesday I'll start the cycle all over again.

Thursday, September 10, 2015

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 3 - Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X, and all I can say about that workout is that I've lost A LOT of pull-up strength - going to have to work on building that back up! Ab Ripper X went OK, going to have to work on building the strength in my abs back up as well too. I did try doing Mason Twists while holding a small dumbbell like someone in my workout group on Facebook suggested, and that did seem to kick things up a notch. This morning I tried something different with  my breakfast and just put the cream cheese and Greek yogurt spread on my English muffin, and left the jelly off of it. We'll see if that helps me stay a little more awake this morning, no sure it will though - may have to start getting more protein in my breakfasts.

That's it for now, hope everyone has a great day!

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 2 - Extreme Cardio Fighter

Good morning! Woke  up this morning feeling very sore from yesterday's P90x workout - that's ok though, I know it's going to take some time for my muscles to get used to the workouts again. This morning I did Les Mills Combat Extreme Cardio fighter, which I liked as usual. I love that workout because there are a lot of punch and kick combinations. Tomorrow's workout is going to be Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X. Hope everyone has a great day!

Tuesday, September 8, 2015

P90x/Les Mills Combat Hybrid Day 1 - P90x Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Started my P90x/Les Mills Combat hybrid this morning with P90x Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X. Shoulders and Arms was pretty easy to get through, and so was most of Ab Ripper X, except for the Mason Twists - I have a feeling I'm going to be feeling those tomorrow!

Also, I wanted to say that I unfortunately will be canceling my coach account - I just don't feel that now is the best time for me to become a Beachbody coach, I have too much going on in my life. I will still keep posting on here about my workout progress though!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Today's workout

Good morning! Having a good day so far, got up early and worked on getting my clothes packed, then did a few other things - checked my email, worked on my Spanish lessons a little bit since I'm not going to be working on them for the next few days, then did part of this Super Workout from the 2013 Beachbody Summit in Las Vegas - it was pretty good, the part that I did had little bits of Slim in 6, Les Mills Combat, Turbofire, Brazil Butt Lift, Focus T25, and when I finally had to turn it off because I was running out of time, it was going into a P90x segment. Today I have to work my regular job until 6:00, but I'm hoping I'll be able to leave early again. Everyone have a great day and a great Labor Day weekend if I don't get to post anymore!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 60 - Shock Plyo HIIT and Got my First Customer!

Good morning! Excited to say that I did my last workout of my Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout routine this morning- Shock Plyo HIIT. Feels good to be done with this round of Les Mills Combat, and I'm looking forward to starting the P90x /Les Mills Combat hybrid workout that I made up for myself when I get back from my mini-vacation on Tuesday.

I'm also excited to say that I got my first customer! Well she hasn't bought anything from my site yet, but she did sign up. I sent her an email yesterday, waiting to see if she sends me a reply. I also got on my team's conference call last night - it was pretty cool, it was actually a video conference call, which I liked except that it's hard for me to show my face in the camera that's built into my computer because I'm so short that you can't really see my face in it. So I'll have to figure out a way to compensate for that.

Looking forward to hopefully having a busy day at work today and I HOPE a busy day tomorrow, although I doubt tomorrow will be busy because everyone will be taking off for Labor Day weekend...But we'll see! Hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 59 - Power Kata

Good morning! Hard to believe today is the next to last day of my Supreme Warrior workout routine! This morning's workout was Power Kata - I like that one because it's different from the others - it's 45 minutes instead of 30 or 60, and it has both some cardio and it also focuses on form some.

This morning I worked on customizing the links in the Coaching Codes Excel Spreadsheet that I downloaded, so I have the exact URLs to give people for different websites, and also to insert into the articles I write - it didn't take long once I figured out how to use Find and Replace to do it. Tonight my team is supposed to have a conference call - I may try to get on it, but I need to find out what number to call into first - I do have a few other things I need to do tonight also. Hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 58 - Power HIIT and Feeling Better about being a Team Beachbody Coach

Good morning! Having a great day so far, got up and did a few things before I did my workout. This morning's workout was Power HIIT - I love that workout because it's short and has less plyometrics in it than Shock Plyo HIIT. It's hard to believe there's only 2 days left in this round of Les Mills Combat for me - then I'll be taking a few days off from intense workouts while I'm up in Michigan with my husband. After I come back, I'll be starting a self-designed Les Mills Combat/P90x workout (Les Mills Combat kickboxing workouts alternated with P90x strength workouts). It will be interesting to see how that goes.

I'm also feeling better about being a Team Beachbody coach - I talked to my coach for a few minutes on the phone last night, and he answered a few questions I had and also gave me some ideas for how to find customers - I've started looking at the posts in the Coach forums and answering requests from people who are looking for a new coach (or looking for a coach at all). I'm hoping eventually I'll find someone who wants me as their coach. I've also been looking at some of the training material in Team Engage Facebook group files, and it's really very helpful.

That's all I have for now, I will  post another update tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great day - bring ti and stay with the fight!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 57 - Live Ultimate Warrior's Workout and Les Mills No Longer Part of Beachbody

Good morning! Did Ultimate Warrior's workout this morning, and got a great workout from it as usual.  I also found out something that has me a little upset - Les Mills is no longer part of Beachbody - apparently they were bought out by Reebok some time ago, so the Les Mills dvds will  no longer be available on the Beachbody website. That means I'll have to find another kickboxing-type of workout to do. I still plan to go forward with doing the P90x/Les Mills Combat hybrid workout that I set up for myself to start the day after Kevin and I get back from our trip up to Michigan (next Tuesday, 9/8/15 - the day after his birthday), but after that I may check out Turbofire or one of the other kickboxing-inspired workouts Beachbody has (those that are reading this that are doing Beachbody workouts - are there any others?)

This week is going to be a short but busy week for me - I have to work this afternoon from 2-7, then all day Tuesday through Friday, then Friday night as soon as I finish work Kevin and I are heading out of town, going up to Michigan for the weekend - we'll be driving back Monday (Labor Day, also his birthday) which we both have off, then we'll both be heading back to work on Tuesday. Somewhere in there I also plan to do some work on my Beachbody business. Hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Surpreme Warrior Workout Day 56 - Rest Day and my Plans for the Day

Good morning! Today was a Les Mills Combat rest day so I slept in a bit this morning - hard to believe I only have 4 days left in this workout! Going out of town on Friday so I will be "off my game" for a few days, but plan to get back to it on Tuesday, starting a P90x/Les Mills Combat hybrid - P90x strength workouts with Les Mills Combat cardio workouts. Got up at 6;00 am and did a few things, then at 8:00 took a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast and got ready for the day. Right now Kevin is out doing some stuff - he's leaving for Augusta around noon, then I plan to spend the rest of the day working on some stuff - want to get a trial of Skype Unlimited World going so I can use it to call into the conference call tomorrow. I actually want to try using it for business-related calls for a month so my cell phone isn't ringing off the hook. I also want to make up a social media posting schedule for information on different products.

That's all I can think of for now, hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 55 - Shock Plyo HIIT and My Plans for the Day

Good morning! This morning I did Shock Plyo HIIT - it was a pretty good workout, I'm always surprised at how much I improve on those workouts every time. I can do more burpees and more of the plyometric lunges and hops now than I could at the beginning of the workout. Today I plan to spend the day with Kevin, since he's got to leave to go back to Augusta tomorrow.  We just got back from eating breakfast, and we're getting ready to go out to Thomasville, NC to visit friends in a bit. Hope everyone has a great Saturday! Tomorrow I will get back to working on ways to drum up some business.

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior's Workout Day 54 and More Ideas for my Coaching Business

Good morning everyone! Having a good morning so far, got up and did Les Mills Combat Ultimate Warrior's workout, which I love because it's got so many different punches and kicks, and it also incorporates all the different types of martial arts. Also weighed in at 114.5 this morning - not that I was trying to lose weight, but I'm always happy when I don't gain weight.

I also came up with more ideas for my coaching business - I think I'm going to start up a trial of Skype Unlimited World so I can call mobile phones and landlines from my computer - I think that might work well for making long distance calls, for example for the Weekly Wake-Up call and also for when I have to call potential customers. I tried getting on the Wake-Up call on my cell phone last week, and it didn't work because my cell phone wouldn't stay connected. If I decide to continue with it, it's only 2.99 a month, which is affordable for me. Plus I can call using Skype from my cell phone or my Kindle as well.

I'm looking forward to today, not only because it's Friday but because Kevin's on his way home from Augusta, GA where he's been working this week, and also because today is our anniversary - we've been married 12 years today.

I also got my Coach welcome kit yesterday, I was surprised to see that this is all it is:

It's a book that has pages in it that give you some information about being a coach and how to earn money, and also has places for you to put in before and after photos.

Anyway, that's it for this post, this weekend I have some stuff to work on, and I also hope to work more on my coaching business. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 53 - Power HIIT and Update on my Coaching Business

Good morning! This morning has been good so far, I got up and worked on some stuff, then at 7:00 I did the Les Mills Combat Power HIIT workout. I love that workout because it's short, and it's less plyometric than Shock Plyo HIIT - there's more of a focus on weight training, though there is also a little bit of plyo in there with the burpees and the switch lunges.

Just like I said I was going to do yesterday, I contacted my neurologist to find out if he knew of any negative interactions between my meds and the herbs or other ingredients in Shakeology. They suggested I contact my pharmacist, so after work I called Rite Aid and spoke to the pharmacist that was working - I gave him the names of some of the herbs, and he said he didn't see any negative interactions (or any interactions at all) between the herbs in Shakeology and my medications. So we'll see. I'm still a bit skeptical. Meanwhile, my Coach starter kit, or whatever it's called, is supposed to arrive today. I'm hoping the USPS delivers it to my door like I specified, and doesn't leave it in my mailbox, because the office is a bit of a walk from my apartment and by the time I get done working it will be dark.

Anyway, that's it for now, I need to get ready to go to work. Everyone have a great day!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 52 - Ultimate Warrior's Workout and Having Second Thoughts about Being a Coach

Good morning - this morning's workout was the Ultimate Warrior's Workout - that's one of my favorite workouts because it's actually performed live, and it's a real good workout - it incorporates all the different types of punches and kicks and really gets my heart going.

I'm also having second thoughts about being a coach. It's beginning to be obvious to me that one of the keys to me being successful as a Beachbody Coach is for me to drink Shakeology, which is very expensive, even with the discount I get as a coach.  Don't get me wrong, it may be great for people who don't mind replacing one of their meals with a shake, especially since over the course of a month it may actually costing less (It's approximately $129 retail price for a 30 day supply, $129/30 = $4.30 a day approximately). If you're spending more than that for one of your meals, it could be worth it to replace that meal with Shakeology, especially since it's a better quality product than a lot of the foods out there. Not sure if it's right for me though - I'm going to check with my neurologist to see if either of the medications I'm taking have negative interactions with any herbs, if they don't then I'll try Shakeology.

That's it for this update, hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Supreme Warrior Workout Day 51 - Shock Plyo HIIT

Good morning everyone! Having a good morning so far, did Shock Plyo HIIT this morning. I'm continuing to get better at the different moves in that workout. I have to work at my full-time job all day today, but in between calls (if we're slow again like we have been the past few days) I plan to work on ways to market my Beachbody coaching business. Everyone have a great day!
