Core Synergistics and Had a Good Day Yesterday

Good morning! This morning I did the P90x Core Synergistics workout, just for a little something different - at least I did most of it, I had to cut it kind of short because I was late starting. Friday ended up being a good day - I was busy at work, and got most of the things that were stressing me out resolved - I was on the phone with a representative from Express Scripts for 1/2 an hour, but she expedited my shipment so it should reach me by Thursday at he latest - I should be able to make my medication last until then.

Yesterday Kevin took me out to visit some friends of ours in Thomasville - they just moved into a new house and it's real nice - it's a lot bigger than their old house and they're paying less for it than they did their old house. We got home late and ended up having at late dinner, but it felt good to get out a little. Today I need to work some things - I have a new freelance writing assignment to work on, and I also need to work on our taxes.

This week I start the second round of my P90x/P90x Plus Hybrid - my schedule will be:

Monday - off
Tuesday - Back and Biceps/ARX
Wednesday - Plyometrics (will probably substitute a Les Mills  Combat Workout)
Thursday - Chest, Shoulders, Triceps/ARX
Friday - Yoga X (will subsitute Pilates or X Stretch)
Saturday - Legs and Back/ARX
Sunday - Kenpo Cardio Plus (may substitute a Les Mills Combat Workout)

Pilates Weight Workout, 1 1/2 pound loss and more Stress

Good morning! This morning I got on the scale and found I was down to 118 pounds, for 1 1/2 loss this week. This morning I did a pilates weight workout because I had to call my doctor to request a 14 day supply of my medication - Rite Aid said they tried to get approval for a short-term supply of my medication, but the request was denied, so last night I had to call Express Scripts and ask them what was going on - they said I had to call my doctor and ask for a 14 day supply to be sent to my pharmacy, so I did that this morning and they said they sent a prescription over to my pharmacy yesterday, so I'll call them at lunch time or if I have time this morning after they open at 10:00.

Les Mills Power Kata

Good morning - this morning's workout was Les Mills Power Kata - it felt great to do that workout, I always get a good workout from it. This morning I also called Express Scripts, the company that provides prescription coverage through Kevin's work now. I had to get something cleared up with them about a prescription I'm waiting on - turns out it won't even be shipped until February 4, so I have to have my pharmacy call their pharmacy help desk to get authorization for a short-term supply so I have enough to last until the  medication arrives. I could get the shipment expedited, but it'll end up costing more to do that than it will to pick up the short-term 14 day supply - $14 and change for the 14 day supply versus an extra $20 for expedited shipping.

X Stretch and Dealing with Stress and Boredom

Good morning! This morning's workout was X Stretch (substituted in place of Yoga X). I love the all-over stretch I get from that workout. Tomorrow's workout is supposed to be Cardio X, but I think I'm going to substitute a Les Mills Combat workout for it, Cardio X doesn't give me a very good workout.

Also, I don't know about the rest of you, but two of the triggers that make me want to eat are stress and boredom - I need to come up with some better ways to deal with those two emotions - anyone have any ideas?

Core Synergistics

Good morning everyone! Had a great workout this morning, I did P90x Core Synergistics. I love that workout because it works out the entire body, and I'm always impressed with how much I can do - today I did 9 Dreya rolls, which  may be the most I've done in a while. I'm still having to use my hands to get myself off the floor though, I need to work on strengthening my legs and abs more so I can get up without using my hands. Tomorrow's workout is supposed to be Yoga X, but I'm going to do X Stretch instead because it's shorter.

Les Mills Power Kata and My Plan for the Coming Week

Good morning! This morning I did Les Mills Combat Power Kata - it felt good to be back to doing Les Mills Combat Workouts after trying to do aerobic workouts that were less high impact this past week because of my lower back pain.  This coming week is going to be a recovery week for me.  My schedule will look like this:

Monday - Rest
Tuesday - Core Synergistics
Wednesday - Yoga X (will substitute X Stretch)
Thursday - Cardio X (will substitute a Les Mills workout)
Friday - Abs Core Plus
Saturday - Kenpo X (will substitute Kenpo Cardio or a Les Mills Workout)
Sunday - Core Synergistics

Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X.  It felt good to be able to do all the Ab Ripper X exercises without much back pain - I'm just about over it! Today I'm working from 11-3 to make up for the time I lost on Thursday. Other than that I don't have much planned. Hope everyone has a great day!

Indoor Walking Workout and Getting Back to Challenging Myself

Good morning! Decided to do Leslie Sansone's 45 minute indoor walking workout this morning - got a great workout from it, and have already reached my step goal for the day!

Also, one thing that I did the past few week that I've found to be real helpful with losing weight and maintaining my weight loss, is I've gotten back to challenging myself - before the holidays I had been using the Pact app to track my vegetables that I eat, as well as the number of calories I eat, both with the Pact app and with MyFitnessPal. Last week I got back to using the Pact app to challenge myself to eat vegetables, and this week I got back to using it to track my meals. I also joined a challenge on MyFitnessPal to log at least 20 meals, and I'm pretty close to achieving that. I'm hoping to add another Pact on the Pact app for keeping track of a few aerobic workouts a week, but I want to wait until I get back to doing higher intensity workouts before I do that.

Looking forward to this weekend - have to work on finishing up a few freelance projects, but other than that I plan to spend as much time as I can with my husband, who's trying to get over a lung infection. He was supposed to go see the doctor today but he couldn't because the office is closed because of the weather here.

Not much else planned other than that - will do Legs and Back and maybe Ab Ripper X tomorrow, depending on how my back feels, and Sunday I'll either do a kickboxing workout or another low impact workout, again depending on how my back feels. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Shoulders and Arms and More Back Pain Exercises

Good afternoon! Sorry I'm just posting now, my morning got busy. This morning's workout was Shoulders and Arms, and I did another Pilates workout for back pain - those really do seem to help, my back is hurting even less today than it did yesterday. Tomorrow if my back is still bothering me I'm going to do an indoor walking workout as my workout.

Low Impact Aerobics and Pilates for Back Pain

Good morning! This morning instead of doing Plyometrics or Interval X like I was supposed to, I decided to alter my workout slightly since my lower back is still bothering me, and I did a low impact aerobics workout and a Pilates for lower back pain workout that I found on YouTube. They both made me feel great - the Pilates for lower back pain workout actually did start to ease my back pain a little bit, even more than sitting or laying with a heating pad behind my back has. I'll still continue to do that too, but I think for the next few days I'm going to try to do some more workouts for back pain. I hope everyone has a great day!

Chest and Back, Ab Ripper X, and Working Through Lower Back Pain

Good morning! I had a good workout this morning - did Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X - managed them even though yesterday I started having lower back pain. Not sure what I did, I may have hurt my back when I was doing laundry or something this weekend, or maybe when I was working out? Don't know. But I've been keeping a heating pad behind my back quite a bit, at least when I'm doing things where I'm sitting down, and close to an electrical outlet - which is pretty much only when I'm working or sleeping - I don't have an outlet close to me when I'm watching TV, and I don't have an extension cord to use for it.

Tomorrow's workout will be Interval X Plus, provided my back feels up to it - otherwise I may do a Les Mills Combat workout.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Les Mills Combat Kickstart and Full-Body Pilates Ball Workout

Good morning! This morning I decided to do something a little different, and did the Les Mills Combat Kickstart 30 Minute workout, and then put some more air in my fitness ball and did a 30 minute Pilates ball workout - both felt great. Have a lot of things to do today, such as laundry (which I have going right now) and some freelance writing, among other things. But this coming week's workouts will be pretty much the same as this week's:

Monday - Rest day
Tuesday - Chest and Back and ARX
Wednesday - Plyometrics (will probably be replaced by Interval X Plus)
Thursday - Shoulders and Arms/ARX
Friday - X Stretch
Saturday - Legs and Back/ARX
Sunday - Kenpo Cardio or Les Mills Combat

Good morning! This morning I did Legs and Back, and because I was running a little bit behind, I decided to do a Pilates for abs workout instead of doing Ab Ripper X. X Stretch, Lost Half a Pound, and My Plans for the Weekend

Good morning! I weighed myself this morning and was happy to see that I lost half a pound. This morning's workout was X Stretch - I always enjoy doing that workout after doing strenuous aerobics and strength workouts a few days in a row. I'm looking forward to tonight and this weekend, because I get to order myself some stuff from Dominos for tonight and tomorrow night - I'm thinking I'll order a sandwich and one of their pasta dishes like I usually do.

I'm also looking forward to having some time to myself this weekend - I have to work on some writing and I also want to work a little on some reorganization projects I'm doing - the Closet Complete system I ordered is supposed to arrive today, if it gets delivered to my door I'll start using it tonight, if it gets delivered to my apartment complex's office, I'll have to go down there and get it tomorrow.

Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X - almost wasn't going to do Ab Ripper X, but at the last minute I decided to.

I'm looking forward to this weekend - Kevin is out of town working in Atlanta, so I'll be able to get a lot of things done. I have some writing I need to work on this weekend, plus I've started working on reorganizing some things. As I said in a previous post, I've been working on reducing the amount of paper clutter that I have, and I also ordered myself something to help free up some space in my part of our clothes closet - once I get that and try it out I'll be sure to post pictures.

Les Mills Combat Power Kata

Good morning - this morning instead of doing Interval X, I decided to do Les Mills Combat Power Kata - but I must have had a seizure during it, because the workout is 45 minutes long but I only ended up doing 20 minutes of it - next thing I  know I'm taking a shower and getting dressed, and I ended up being ready for work by 8:00 without even realizing it, when I didn't have to be to work until 9:00. So I used the time to work on some online scrapbooks I started. Tomorrow's workout is Shoulders and Arms, and I WILL do the entire workout tomorrow!

Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! Yes, I did another Chest and Back workout today even though I just did one a few days ago. Trying to get myself back on schedule with my workouts. The chest and back workout felt pretty good, tomorrow I will do Interval X Plus instead of doing Plyometrics, which is what I should be doing. I also need to get back to watching what I eat - yesterday for some reason I wanted to eat everything in sight - boredom or frustration maybe? Not sure - I worked on a personal project yesterday, and I was kind of frustrated with it at one point - luckily I've figured out what I need to do to get past the problem I was having. I'm hoping work today is pretty steady, I hope everyone has  a great day!

Pilates and this week's workout schedule

Wasn't going to do a workout, but decided to get up and do a half hour Pilates workout this morning. This week's workouts will be the same as last week's:

Tomorrow (Tuesday): Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X
Wednesday - Interval X (substituting for Plyometrics)
Thursday - Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X
Friday - X Stretch (substituting for Yoga X)
Saturday - Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X
Sunday - Kenpo Cardio (substituting for Kenpo X)

Going to try to keep my eating somewhat under control this week - that shouldn't be a problem, with Kevin out of town he's left me all the food I need to eat for the next two weeks, although I will order myself a  few sandwiches from Dominoes on Friday probably. Hope everyone has a great week!

Chest and Back and Figuring out Ways to Reduce Paper Clutter

Good morning! This morning's workout was supposed to be Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X, but I decided to only do Chest and Back - may do Ab Ripper X later if I feel like it. This morning Kevin is getting ready to leave for Atlanta, now that he's feeling a little better, so I've been working on cleaning up and organizing a few things - one thing I've been trying to organize is all my paper clutter, because I was inspired by a eBook that I downloaded from the website Organize365 do that. One thing that I realized creates a lot of paper clutter for me are the P90x Workout sheets that I have to print out to track my workouts, so I think I'm going to look for ways to reduce that paper clutter. Would be nice if I could just fill in the forms right on the computer while I was working out - may have to figure out a way to do that.

Kenpo Cardio and my plan for Saturday

Good morning! This morning I got up and did Kenpo Cardio - I love that workout because I get a great cardio workout from it, but I need to get back to adding some Les Mills Combat back into my routine for the variety. This morning I have a conference call for work in about 23 minutes, then I'm not sure exactly what I'll do with the rest of my day - at some point this week I have to get a hair cut, and I'll also probably work on some writing and spend some time with Kevin. Legs and Back and Pilates for Abs

Good morning! This morning was supposed to be Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X, but I ended up doing Legs and Back and a Pilates for Abs workout (non-Beachbody) workout instead, because I got started a little late with my workout. I also weighed myself this morning and was at 120 pounds - I'll take that. Not sure how much weight I gained over the holidays, but probably a little bit considering all the junk that I ate, and I didn't exercise as regularly as I should have (didn't exercise at all when I was out of town).

Kevin is sick, so I'm not sure what we'll be doing this weekend, or if we'll be doing anything at all. I still plan to do my regular workouts of course - tomorrow is Kenpo X, but I'll probably do Kenpo Cardio instead, and Sunday is supposed to be my rest day, but I'm going to do the Chest and Back workout that I didn't do on Monday.

X Stretch

Good morning! As I said yesterday, this morning's workout was supposed to be Yoga X, but I substituted X Stretch because Yoga X is too long for me. X Stretch gave me a good stretch, though. Tomorrow's workout will be Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X.

Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X - it felt good to do that workout, I worked up a good sweat with it. I also printed out the worksheets for the P90x/P90x Plus Hybrid workout - they look a big different from the P90x worksheets. Tomorrow's workout is supposed to be Yoga X, but I think I'm going to substitute it with X Stretch, and maybe some Pilates.

Kenpo Cardio Plus

Good morning! Hope everyone had a great New Years - yesterday I decided not to workout, because my apartment was very cold and I just felt like staying underneath my covers. This morning it was much warmer though, so I got up and did Kenpo Cardio Plus, which I got a great workout from, then ate a good breakfast - a waffle with cream cheese/greek yogurt spread over it, and some syrup on it, and a yogurt. I'm looking forward to getting back to eating right and working out now that the holidays are over.
