My Workouts for the Past Three Days

Good morning everyone! Sorry it's been a few days since I updated, but I've been busy. My workouts for the past few days have been good - on Tuesday I did Total Body Plus and Abs/Core Plus, which went well - got a good workout from both those workouts. Yesterday was supposed to be Interval X Plus, but I decided to do Kenpo Cardio instead since I'm not going to be able to do it this weekend. This morning I was supposed to do Upper Plus and Abs/Core Plus, but due to lack of time I did Upper Plus and Ab Ripper X instead - but still got a good workout.

Tomorrow after I finish work we leave for the beach - I'm looking forward to being down there, and hoping we'll be able to get in some time on the beach, and that I'll have the motivation to get in a workout this weekend. Tomorrow's workout is supposed to be Yoga X, but I'll probably end up doing X Stretch, if I even have time to get in a workout. If I don't get a chance to post before I leave for the beach, I hope everyone has a great weekend!

My Workouts for this Week

Good evening everyone! I'm back from my trip - I had a great time visiting with Kevin's family and our friends up in Michigan, but unfortunately I didn't work out at all. We do have another trip coming up on Friday - this one will be down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - one of my favorite vacation spots! My workout schedule for this week will be:

Tomorrow (Tuesday) - Total Body Plus/Abs/Core Plus
Wednesay - Interval X Plus
Thursday - Upper Plus/Abs/Core Plus
Friday - X Stretch
Saturday - Should be Kenpo Cardio, but not sure since I'll be at the beach - may try to find a more low-impact kickboxing routine I can do in my hotel room.
Sunday - Should be Legs and Back and Abs/Core Plus, but not sure since I'll be down at the beach.

I hope everyone has a great week! Maybe I'll try to post some pictures when I get back to from the beach next weekend.

X Stretch, Gained a Pound and Ready for my Trip

Good morning! This morning I stepped on the scale and found I'd gained a pound - that doesn't surprise me somehow, I had a feeling I'd show a gain this week, I'm just glad it wasn't a big one. This morning I did X Stretch - that felt great, especially since the workouts I've done the past few days have been rather intense.

I'm ready to leave for my trip to Michigan this afternoon! I'm working until 1:00, and then Kevin and I will leave after that. I'm looking forward to spending some time with family and friends, and I still hope to be able to get some workouts in while I'm gone. If I don't get a chance to update, I hope everyone has a great Easter!

Upper Plus and Ab Ripper X

Good morning! This morning's workout was Upper Plus and Ab Ripper X - I love Upper Plus because of the variety of the exercises - especially exercises like Double Double Dip'll Do Ya, where you're doing both push ups and dips. A lot of these exercises work more than just the upper body, or they'll work multiple muscles at the same time - so you can get a good workout in a shorter period of time.

I only have a day and a half of work left and then I'm  heading up to Michigan for Easter weekend. Looking forward to it and not looking forward to it at the same time - I love visiting my friends and family up there, but I've also heard they're still having snow up there - don't want to deal with that, the temperatures are actually starting to get a little warmer down here! :(

Not sure if I'll get to post tomorrow, but if I don't I hope everyone has a great weekend! Don't eat too much Easter candy!

Interval X Plus and my Upcoming Michigan Trip

Good morning! This morning's workout was Interval X Plus - I get a great workout from that workout - I'm usually sweating pretty well by the end of it. I definitely need to work on my flexibility though, it's hard for me to get down low on some of those moves, like loading docks.

I'm going to be going to Michigan this weekend for Easter - I'm looking forward to it, but I know probably won't be getting much exercise in. I'm going to try to, but I'm not sure what Kevin's plans are for the weekend - if he'll be visiting with his buddy or not, and how much time I'll be spending on my own.

Core Synergistics

Good morning! Was supposed to do Total Body Plus and Abs/Core Plus this morning, but my husband had to take my chin-up bar down so that I could close my door, because the maintenance staff at my apartment complex may be coming in to do some work - so I ended up doing Core Synergistics instead. Still got a good workout from it though. Today I have to work a full day at work, hoping things go smoothly and that the day isn't too stressful. Everyone have a great day!

Good morning! Decided to do a short workout this morning since I probably won't be working out much this coming weekend, if at all. Did Les Mills Combat Power Kata - it felt good to do that workout, I haven't done it in a while. Legs and Back and Abs/Core Plus, Taking Shorter Showers, and My Workout Schedule for the Coming Week

Good morning! This morning's workout was Legs and Back and Abs/Core Plus - tried something different with Legs and Back this morning, and put my riser under my step to give myself a little bit more height for when I did balance lunges - we'll see if it helps. Love doing Abs/Core Plus, as usual because of all the variety in the ab exercises, but have to try using my abs more to lift my legs on exercises like Hanging Toe Tap Knee Raises and Hanging Pelvic Tilt.

Also, it looks like Kevin and I may be signing another lease here at our apartment complex. If we do, with our new lease we'll have to pay for our water consumption, so I'm trying to get into the habit now of finding ways to conserve water - one of the ways I want to try doing that is taking shorter showers. I tend to take long showers because not only do I wash my hair and body, but I'll also shave my legs and underarms. Not the best place to do it, I know, but it works. Anyway, I limited myself to just washing my hair and body this morning and was able to get in and out of the shower in about 4 minutes, which is pretty good for me. I'll see if I can start doing that more consistently.

This week's workout schedule is going to be a bit short because Kevin and I are going up to Michigan on Friday for Easter weekend. It looks something like this:

Monday - Rest (maybe? might do a workout tomorrow since I'm not sure if I'll get to do one on Saturday or Sunday)
Tuesday - Total Body Plus/Abs/Core Plus
Wednesday - Interval X Plus
Thursday - Upper Plus/Ab Ripper X
Friday - X Stretch
Saturday - ? not sure - Going to be out of town

Kenpo Cardio

Good morning. This morning I decided to do Kenpo Cardio instead of Legs and Back, because I didn't feel like getting my husband up to put my chin-up bar up, and I also slept in too late to do Legs and Back and Ab Ripper X - I probably could have done Legs and Back, but not Ab Ripper X. Not sure what I'll do today, I don't have any freelance work to work on at the moment - I might look at other freelance jobs or do a little reading today, Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

X Stretch and Stayed the Same

Good morning! This morning's workout was X Stretch - I love that workout even though it's not an aerobic or strength workout, because it helps me stretch out the muscles I've been working out all week.

I also got on the scale this morning and found I'd stayed the same as last week - 121 pounds. It's funny, at first I thought I'd gained - I thought it was last week that I was down to 118. But I checked my blog posts and saw that it was the week before that I'd gotten down to 118. I guess it's better than gaining, but I was hoping to lose again this week. Hoping that I do lose this coming week, because next Friday Kevin and I are going to Michigan, and then the following weekend we're going to the beach.

Not sure what Kevin and I will be doing this weekend - the weather has been in the 70s all week, but unfortunately it looks like it's going to get down to the 40s and 50s this weekend. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X

Good morning - this morning's workout was Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X. It went well as usual - I enjoy this workout because it's more varied than Chest and Back. After I worked out I took my shower and got ready for the day - don't plan to do anything special for St. Patrick's Day today. Hope everyone has a great day!

Interval X Plus

Good morning! This morning's workout was Interval X Plus - got through it, although I'm still having problems with some of the exercises that require a lot of deep bending. I guess I'll just have to take it easy on those exercises until I can do them with no problems. Tomorrow's workout will be Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X.

Back and Biceps and Abs/Core Plus

Good  morning! This morning's workout was Back and Biceps and Abs/Core Plus. I love Back and Biceps because it's a little shorter than the other strength workouts, so I still had plenty of time to do Abs/Core Plus even though I was running a little behind. I also love Abs/Core Plus because it's got different kinds of exercises in it - sitting, standing, hanging and plank exercises, instead of being all mat exercises like Ab Ripper X is. Legs and Back and Abs/Core Plus and Kenpo Cardio Plus

Good morning! Yesterday ended up being both busy and lazy for me, so I never got a chance to update. I did do Legs and Back and Abs/Core Plus yesterday though, and felt pretty good afterwards as usual - sore but good. This morning was Kenpo Cardio Plus, which I love. Next week I'm back on mostly P90x workouts - my week will look like this:

Monday - off
Tuesday - Back and Biceps/Abs/Core Plus
Wednesday - Interval X Plus
Thursday - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps and Ab Ripper X
Friday - X Stretch
Saturday - Legs & Back and Abs/Core Plus

X Stretch and Gained 2 1/2 pounds

Good morning! This morning's workout was X Stretch - felt good to do that workout, especially since I somehow managed to hurt my lower back earlier this week. It's feeling better now, I think it just needed to be stretched out a little more.

This morning I also got on the scale and found I'd gained 2 1/2 pounds - back up to 121. I'm not too worried about it though, because I'm going to try something different this week and try eating more vegetables and less bread, and see if that helps.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! I have some things to work on this weekend, but I also hope to get out a little bit.

Upper Plus

Good morning! This morning's workout was supposed to be Upper Plus and Ab Ripper X, but I only ended up doing Upper Plus because I ran short on time. I forgot how challenging Upper Plus is though - I have a feeling I'm going to have some sore muscles tomorrow. That's ok though, it's still nice to do a different workout. Tomorrow's workout is supposed to be Yoga X, but I think I'm going to change things up and either do X Stretch or a short Pilates workout. Hope everyone has a great day!

Interval X Plus

Good morning! This morning's workout was Interval X Plus, which was challenging as usual - it has exercises in it that require you to go faster during the different intervals, as well as exercises that require you to go deeper, and I actually find the ones that require me to go deeper to be a little more challenging. I still got a good workout though. Tomorrow's workout will be Upper Plus and Ab Ripper X.

X Stretch and Lost 3 Pounds!

(Please note, this post was supposed to be published on Friday, 3/4/16. I actually only ended up doing a short workout today.)

Good morning everyone! This morning's workout was supposed to be Yoga X, but I decided to do X Stretch instead - I like that workout because it's shorter but I still get a good all over stretch. I actually think I want to find ways to start adding more stretching to my day, especially since I spend a lot of time sitting.

I'm also happy to say I lost 3 pounds this week! I'm not surprised, especially since my time of the month arrived yesterday - I think I peed and pooped out a lot of it, LOL. Hoping I can keep up with the weight loss now, especially since I have some trips coming up - Michigan Easter weekend, and then the beach the weekend after that.

Good morning! This morning's workout was supposed to be Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X, but I ended up being short on time, so I replaced Ab Ripper X with a short Pilates for Abs workout one of my other non-Beachbody DVDs. Hoping that I have a good day today, and that everyone else does too!

Interval X Plus and Drinking More Water

Good morning! This morning's workout was Interval X Plus - it felt good to do that workout again, I haven't done it in a while. I was able to get through most of it, although I had trouble with the Carlito Three-Way Pushups. I think I need to really work on strengthening myself all over. Tomorrow's workout will be Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X - looking forward to it!

The last few days I've been trying to get in more water in the morning right away when I get up, and I have to say I think it makes a difference. I actually felt like I had more energy at the end of the day yesterday.

Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X and my Doctors' Appointments Yesterday

Good morning! This morning's workout was supposed to be Chest and Back and Abs/Core Plus, but I didn't want to wake my husband up to put up my chin-up bar, so I did Chest and Back and Ab Ripper X instead - I did the back exercises with my resistance band, but I wouldn't have been able to do that with the Abs/Core Plus workout - I would have needed the chin-up bar. Still got a good workout though.

My doctors' appointments yesterday went well - at my neurologist appointment I was told that one thing that could help control my seizures is to make sure I'm drinking water right away when I get up in the morning - so this morning I made sure I got some water before I worked out, and drank it during my workout as well.  It's something I know I need to do but I rarely do it. Going to start making a habit to do it now though. At my endodontist appointment I was told that I do need a root canal - after the root canal I'm going to have to make an appointment with my regular dentist to have a crown put in. Unfortunately, the soonest I was able to schedule an appointment for my root canal was April 18 - at least I got it scheduled though.
